Removes personal data from a document so it cannot be brought back. On export the page is redrawn, so the hidden characters are nowhere in the result. National ID, card, phone and email patterns are found for you across the whole document.

Redact redraws each page as an image. The hidden characters go away, but so does the ability to select or search the text that remains. That is the trade for removing it properly.
A document made of pictures rather than letters has no text to search. Drag over the areas yourself. There is no OCR in here.
